We’ve created two plans that spread the cost of preventative care into one simple monthly payment, both designed by vets who understand the needs of you and your horse.
For complete peace of mind, our new Premium plan offers our most comprehensive cover. It brings together full vaccination protection, routine dental, worm and parasite control and annual blood test, alongside a free annual consultation and discounts on further visits and long-term medications. It’s proactive care from a team who know your horse, catching problems early before they become something bigger.
Our Essentials plan covers the fundamental preventative care every horse needs, at exceptional value. Whichever you choose, routine care like your yard visit and vaccinations is managed for you, so you can get on with doing what you love with your horse.

Comprehensive vaccination cover – six-monthly flu vaccines, tetanus, six-monthly equine herpes vaccines and strangles
Routine dental, including sedation (if not done at vaccination, visit not included)
Worm and parasite control – EquiSal tapeworm, faecal analysis and Equest Pramox
Blood test, including sampling
10% off in-hours visits, long-term medications and restart vaccination courses

What is the South Moor Equine Health Plan?
It’s a preventative healthcare plan that spreads the cost of your horse’s routine care into 12 simple monthly payments. It brings together the essentials like your yard visit, vaccinations and worm and parasite control, so the routine is managed and you can focus on what matters. It isn’t an insurance policy and doesn’t cover the cost of treating illness or injury.
What's the difference between the Essentials and Premium plans?
Essentials covers the fundamental preventative care every horse needs, including your yard visit, flu and tetanus vaccinations, dental including sedation, EquiSal tapeworm, faecal analysis and Equest Pramox. Premium includes everything in Essentials plus a free annual consultation, a strangles vaccine and a blood test including sampling, along with extra flu and equine herpes vaccinations.
How much does each plan cost?
Essentials is £17.50 a month and Premium is £38 a month, both paid by monthly Direct Debit across 12 months.
Is the plan the same as insurance?
No. It’s a preventative healthcare plan, not an insurance policy, so it doesn’t cover the cost of treating illness or injury. It’s designed to spread the cost of your horse’s routine care across the year.
