Equine Health Plan
Welcome to South Moor Vets’ Equine Health Plan.
We want to do everything we can to help you keep your horses healthy and happy and so have created our Equine Health Plan to make preventative health care simple and affordable.
We have included vaccinations to protect your horse against flu and tetanus, a strategic working programme and an annual Check up, if requested. Our plan also includes a routine dental with sedation.
Our Equine Health Plan is not Equine insurance. However, it is designed to complement it by covering treatment that is not covered by insurance and can be taken out even if your horse is not insured.

The Pet Health Plan starts as soon as you have signed up online. Once you have signed up, we then take your first payment, either over the phone or at the practice. You will also be able to choose which day of the month your monthly payments are taken, when signing up online.

*Please note that this is not an insurance plan, but a way of spreading the cost of preventative healthcare throughout the year. If you cancel your plan, we reserve the right to charge you the up to the total value of any products/discounts received.
As an Equine Health Plan member your horse will benefit from:
Annual Booster vaccination & health check (to include visit)
4 Worm Egg Counts
One Winter Wormer (Appropraite product for this time of year)
Equisal Tapeworm Saliva Test (recommend 6 months after Winter Wormer)
Routine Dental, including sedation (if not done at vaccination, visit not included)
10% off long term medication
10% discount on visit fees within hours (Mon – Fri 9am – 6pm)
