South Moor Equine Vets are pleased to announce that we are now able to offer laser surgery to our clients. Laser surgery is very useful for removing certain skin tumours such as sarcoids and melanomas. Laser surgery can usually be done under standing sedation using local anaesthetic. It has the benefit of reducing the spread of tumour cells, significantly reducing bleeding, reducing pain and inflammation.
